Dr. Inderpreet Sanghera opened Lotus MD with no patient base and no marketing behind her. Less than five months later she runs two locations. In a single month her practice sold more than $60,000 of XERF, more than any other provider in Sacramento, and Cynosure Lutronic now features her as a top provider.
Marketing alone didn't get her there. The systems underneath it did. We sat down with her at the Sacramento office to talk about what that handoff looked like from her side.
What "number one in Sacramento" looks like
Search "xerf sacramento" and Lotus MD is the first result, above a practice that calls itself the first in Northern California. Google's AI Overview cites the same page as its source.
The business side nobody trains you for
The interview opens on why doctors struggle with the business side of a practice. Medical training prepares you to treat patients. It doesn't prepare you to answer every inquiry or follow up with the ones who went quiet, and at a brand-new practice all of that lands on the owner.
One system instead of three vendors
Dr. Sanghera could have hired three separate vendors to cover it. She went with one system instead, and she walks through the first 30 days of working with us and why she made that call.
Her inbox explains part of it. "I get 100 emails a day from lead vendors," she says. Most of those pitches sell leads and stop there. She talks about what made this different.
Today the lead-to-appointment process at Lotus MD runs without her touching it.
Growth without more busy work
