Apple Fix Pros is a device repair business whose biggest customers are other repair shops. Those buyers were ordering by text, by phone and by email, and every order was a conversation before it was a sale.
The fix was not more traffic. It was a website built from scratch for the way those buyers order, with Shopify running checkout and inventory underneath it. Not a theme: a custom frontend with their pricing, their reorder lists and a checkout they could use at 10pm without waiting for a reply. Everything on this page came through that site.
The numbers, and how to read them
Ninety days to December 17, 2023: $397,075 across 117 orders from only 190 store sessions.
A 47% conversion rate is not a web statistic. Nobody's shoppers convert like that. It means almost every visit to the store is a buyer who came to place an order, which is exactly what an order desk should look like. The number to read is the sales figure, and the one before it.
The same store two months earlier, before the new site. The 90-day view to October 10 showed $28,858 in sales.
Between October and December 2023 the trailing 90-day sales went from $28,858 to $397,075, because the wholesale buyers moved their ordering onto the new site.
The last 30 days of that window on their own: $126,295 across 38 orders.
